In a blog post that touches on intentions and actions, adapted from his new book The Earned Life, the renowned leadership expert and bestselling author Marshall Goldsmith talks about how the giving and sharing aspects of a Life Plan Review can create a helpful community.

Goldsmith writes: “The Life Plan Review is designed to close the gap between what you plan to do in your life and what you actually get done. There are four steps. First, you and each member of the weekly meeting take turns to report your answers to a fixed set of six questions that have been documented to improve your life. Second, in the days between the weekly LPR meetings, you build the habit of self-monitoring by tracking these questions daily. Third, review your plan weekly for relevance and personal need. Fourth, don’t do this alone. This last is essential. Community saved me.”

The new American.ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate recently. Ambassador Brink, a Michigan native and fluent Russian speaker, was confirmed hours after the United States reopened its embassy in Kyiv after a three-month closure, which shows how war-torn Ukraine is returning to life in some areas. Ambassador Brink’s confirmation is expected to further strengthen relations between Washington and Kyiv and the international community.
